1. How would you currently describe your relationship with God? I don’t really have a personal relationship with God… I’m struggling right now. I want to know God personally, but I feel stuck. I’m investing in my relationship with God and seeking to grow. There are still a lot of areas that need work though! My relationship with God is thriving! I’m learning and growing every day!

2. How often do you read and study Scripture? I can’t remember the last time I picked up a Bible… A couple times a month. My Bible reading is very inconsistent. At least every week. I’m trying, but it’s very hard to be consistent and motivated. Nearly every day. It’s a daily habit that I’ve built up consistently and followed through with diligently.

3. What’s your prayer life like? Honestly, I don’t really pray. Prayer is so hard! I pray on and off, usually when I need something. I know I should pray more, but I just forget to or get distracted when I try. I pray every day at least a little. I still get distracted a lot and I don’t always have a set aside time of prayer, but it’s getting better. I spend intentional and focused time in prayer nearly every day. I don’t always feel like it, but I show up and seek God regularly.

4. When it comes to motivation and vision, which statement best describes you? I need to figure out my direction in life. I’m not even certain if this rebelutionary stuff is for me… I feel so discouraged. I’m trying to do hard things for God, but it’s tough. Everything I try seems to fail and I’m wondering if I’m making any difference at all. I have an idea and vision about what I want to do, but how to get there feels very uncertain. I sometimes wonder if it’s impossible, but I want to keep trying. I’m in the middle of pursuing what God has placed on my heart. It’s a bumpy ride, filled with ups and downs. Sometimes I get discouraged, but then I remember that it’s all for God and keep forging ahead!

5. Your mom asks you to do a job for her. How would you typically respond? If I’m being honest, it probably won’t get done. It depends. Sometimes I’d do it right away, but other times I’d forget or get busy. If it’s something I don’t enjoy doing, the likelihood of accomplishing it goes way down. Getting it done promptly and doing a good job are sometimes up for debate, but I’ll most likely follow through. I’ll give it a shot and do my best! I’ll prioritize accomplishing the task before having my own free time.

6. How would you describe your friendships? My friends aren’t Christians. They don’t know about The Rebelution or really care about doing hard things. I have a few Christian friends, but we don’t usually talk about Christian things. We just kind of hang out and have fun together. I have several friends who are at the same level as me in their walk with God. We occasionally pray for each other and share what we’re reading in Scripture. My friends help draw me closer to Jesus! They spur me on in my relationship with God, pray for me, challenge me with Scripture, and lift me up when I’m discouraged.

7. How active are you in “getting your hands dirty” serving those around you? I don’t have time to serve people around me. Service usually gets pushed aside and I tend to make excuses. I’d like to serve more! I don’t know what opportunities to look into though. I’m also struggling with finding time. I occasionally serve people around me and I have a few ministries or organizations that I enjoy helping out when I can. I’m actively involved in giving of my time and energy in serving people—whether that’s my family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, ministries in my area, or other outlets, I regularly spend time helping those around me.

8. Which statement best describes your feelings about comfort zones? I avoid getting out of my comfort zone as much as possible. Getting out of my comfort zone terrifies me! I often back out at the last minute. It’s just too hard! Getting out of my comfort zone is…well, uncomfortable, but I’ve seen God do amazing things when I’m brave enough to take that step. I want to grow and step out of my comfort zone more! My comfort zone feels so far away, sometimes I’ve forgotten what it feels like! It’s hard yes, but it’s so worth it!

9. How do you usually spend your time? I accomplish the tasks I have to do (like school or work), and then spend the rest of my time doing whatever I want. I’m struggling with finding time to do everything I need to do. I know I waste more time than I should, but I’m not sure how to be more productive and focused. I’ve set up some good habits and patterns with how I spend my time. I have some areas that need work, but I’m tackling them one by one. I’ve worked out a lot of my struggles with wasting time. Being a good steward of my time is a huge priority to me and I’m seeing how my good habits lead to greater productivity and a more restful life.

10. When you need advice, who do you turn to? I often will search for articles on Google or try to find a podcast or YouTube video on the topic I’m struggling with. I wish I had more people in my life I could turn to! Honestly, I sometimes feel really lost. I turn to people in my life like my parents or older siblings. I also look for advice from solid Christians like my pastor or from Christian authors and speakers. I have a solid and supportive community. My family speaks into my life when I’m struggling and I also have mentors and older adults who I know I can turn to.
