The forum team has gained the impression that there is some confusion about how the Greenhouse forums work. This is important, because the Greenhouse forums are where new discussions are created.
In order to clear things up — and to show how simple and easy the process really is — we decided to post a brief explanation of how exactly new threads are made, and why you should get involved!
It all starts with you, the user. If you have an idea of something you'd like to share, discuss, or get input on, just write it out and post it in the corresponding Greenhouse forum, just like you would on any other forum.
Once your thread is posted, it will be invisible to everyone except you and members of the forum team. Several forum team members will read it over. If it's ready to go, it will be moved to one of the public forums. Presto! Open for discussion.
Sometimes there will be a few changes the forum team thinks you could make that would make your post even stronger. If so, they'll discuss it together and with you. As soon as it's ready, it will go live.
Overall, it's a really simple process that raises the quality of the Forum — but it's made to seem a bit daunting by the limits of a phpBB forum. We hope this little explanation makes things more clear for all of you. Now go start some threads. _________________ Do Hard Things. |
