  • This was so sweet and inspiring….God will surely bless you both richly. I’m praying for you guys and your family. Truly, the little things, the small services for which no one applauds you, are precious in God’s sight.

  • Thanks, Alex and Brett. We were so blessed and encouraged by your message. We had a prayer day in Manila today (Cebu had theirs last Saturday) and we got to show your video to the other Filipino Rebelutionaries. Once again, thank you so much. We’re praying for your mom and your whole family. 🙂

    God bless you.

  • Thanks for the encouragement guys. You touched on something very important there, that serving God isn’t always big and exciting, but often just serving the people in need around us. Praying for you and your family. God bless!

  • Such an encouraging message indeed amidst your difficult times. Thanks so much to both of you, Alex and Brett. God bless you and the entire family.

  • Alex & Brett,
I noticed you said “your mother’s cancer” while it is true she has cancer right now, I wouldn’t claim it as ‘her’s’ there is alot of power in words, and your mom needs to have life spoken over her and not death (Deut. & Prov.) We’ve tryed to do this with my dad, who’s been diagnosed with cancer 1 yr. ago. It also helps build faith as we pray & believe for their healing!!! Anyway, hope you don’t feel like I was preaching at you or anything, just felt like I should share that with you! I really appriciate the work you are doing, and for encouraging us to do the same 🙂 Blessings, Julia Ann

  • Thank you so much for this encouraging video. Being quietly faithful in what I am doing is what I long for…by God’s grace, it will happen! Thank you for your shining example, especially through this trying season. My family, friends, and I are faithfully praying for you and your family! As you all know, we are never alone, no matter our situation. May God increasingly give you strength, wisdom, compassion, and energy! Through Christ’s love,

  • Praying. Thank you for your example of keeping your priorities straight and practicing what you preach about “small” hard things. 🙂 May God bless you for it. (And I know he will.)

  • Thank you so much for the encouragement. 🙂

The ripples that you have been sending from your side of the world has been reaching me (and I bet a lot more other Filipinos) despite everything that could have potentially been hindrances. Your book and messages has blessed me and I really appreciate what you have been doing. It’s a lot, many of which are very hard things, that I believe to be well worth the hard work and commitment. Thank you for so much.

I think it’s true that the passion our generation has is not achieving as much as it would have had we been constantly faithful even in the small things, fortunately, the awareness of this is a possible start to improving the situation. Let’s do this! 😀

“Thank you!” That pretty much sums up what I’d love to say to you. Oh, and that you guys are so cool. 😉

  • I’m praying for your family. Together in the fight brothers. 🙂
God is good all the time and He has a divine purpose in everything that is happening in our lives. thank you for continuously inspiring us.

    God Bless,
    Lizette

  • Hey! thats the third time God has given me that exact same message! first at church then from my daddy nd now from u guys. Sometimes the best thing is just to continue serving faithfully in what can seem like the unending monotony of our day to day lives.
Hard lesson to learn tho. love to your precious mama!

  • This was such a nice video; it was good to see and hear you talking in such a sincere and godly way – very inspiring.

  • This was so encouraging to watch! Thank you, Alex and Brett, for your wonderful example of doing ‘small hard things’ and the amazing attitude you have about it! You have no idea how much God has used your books and blog in my life! Keep pressing on!
I will be praying for your mom!
    Blessings!

  • Alex and Brett, your mom’s death is hard to understand right now, but I know that God has a special plan for your lives. He may not reveal it right now, but you have to be patient and do your best in all things. I’m excited to see what God has in store for your and this generation’s lives!

  • My developer is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using WordPress on several websites for about a year and am worried about switching to another platform. I have heard very good things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can transfer all my wordpress posts into it? Any help would be really appreciated!

  • Hello Alex and Brett. Will you consider making the Philippines a stop for your tour? It almost happened (and my condolences)…and I hope, 5 years later, that “almost” can be a reality.
